Emails and Communication - Genevieve Jebson
It was easy to communicate through email. I have screenshoted a number of emails below to show just how much communication between teams was needed in order for the market day to run smoothly. Many people got in contact over facebook or in person as well. It depended on the day.
Other methods of communications:
We also used facebook chat, our group 7 group and the creative industries and events creative industries pages to keep in contact with our group and other groups.Wednesday, 7 October 2015
Ethics forms completed - Genevieve Jebson
Everyone who participated in the market place either had to read the ethics posters on entry (lecturers and other students), or sign a document which indicated that they were okay with photos and videos to be taken.
We collected these signed forms to prove that we had asked everyone.

Pitching - Genevieve Jebson
As discussed with the lecturers, Documentation will be pitching at the Paramount on Wednesday 14th October. We decided that since we were a news crew that we would record our pitch and add it to the front of our video. This would tie in nicely with our already established style.
This was recorded at 8am Wednesday 7th, as there wasn't very many other times where everyone was free and the white/green screen was free.
Hannah Jensen - Hi, I’m Hannah Jensen - you might remember me form such shows such as MMN news, taste of place promo video or even seen me down at the sausage sizzle. It’s two weeks on, why are we here? We’re here today to deliver our pitch, brought to you by Sticky tape staches, MMN News and a bunch of hard working students.

Genevieve Jebson - Behind the scenes of MMN News documentation roles went beyond the comedic characters you’ve grown to love. Behind the acting, the personas and the laugh out loud moments we have an agenda we set out to achieve.
Ben Grave - As a team we intended to create an atmosphere and personality to the role of documentation. we wanted to think of a way to present the markets in a fashion that not only documented the event but promoted and brought hype to the offering teams.
Will Todd - MMN news was built on strong organisation between our two co ordiantors Gen and Hannah - the back bone to the team. By utilising the assets within our group we developed roles around reality - who could work on camera, who could help and who had the knowledge to take our project to the next level.
Hannah Symonds - Queue Raph Roake, our social media component to the group. With assistance, direction and film skills we were able to develop our ideas and create product as a collaborative team.By teaming up with Social Media we were able to develop our own use of media exposure, ensuring that every person attending the event knew about us in one way or another.
Genevieve Jebson - We created mock posters that mirrored anchormans, produced quirky and somewhat ridiculous promotional videos and ensured we had a steady feed of media attention. Gradually MMN News became a brand of its own with the intention to bring attention to the market.
Hannah Jensen -Our intention to film and produce the documentary video as a news reading exploration was a dynamic way to infuse excitement, feel the hype and involve ourselves and others in the personal process. By executing interviews and trailing the activities the future promotion of Creative Industries has a more relatable and personal approach.

Ethics form - Genevieve Jebson
It was bought to our attention that we should include an ethics form in our project. This was to explain to anyone entering/participating, that their photo may be taken and they may be caught on video at any time. The form explains how the footage collected will not be sold, or used for any other purpose other than promotion or for our submission.

Making the 'Breaking News Frame - Genevieve Jebson
We decided it would be a good idea to make a breaking news frame. Hannah Jensen went to Bunnings on her way home, and I (with the help of Megan Taylor from Human Resources) went to the industrial block to make the frame.
Its a banger of a time! - Hannah Jensen
Teaming up with Market board the anchor Team made it down to get some promos out for free sausages.
First off we filmed a pre promo upon set up with Chris Ashton on camera and publishing staright to the facebook page.
We got together with MAWSA and logged in on snapchat to make sure everyone knew where to be for the free food, because students love free food.
I quickly came up with some cheesy catch phrases and some lines to throw down for the the initial promotion. After tagging in our mates and sharing to personal pages we got a heap of people down to the BBQ.
Following on from this we needed Massey students to know what it was all about and why so I went around and started asking kids what they were doing on Wednesday. To build an archive of students yelling out "i'm going to packed" we came up with a promo video pretty quickly which was soon out on social media platforms.
